It's no secret, War Pigs is one my favorite all time songs. I stumbled onto this classic. It's very early recording of Black Sabbath. They refer to it as the song from their new album, so I put it at about 1969/70. The sound is amazing considering the age of this recording. A very young Sabbath, but this rocks.

Check out the double mic taped together. That's a trick still used by heavy metal bands today.

LOL!. I totally missed the text.

I was just amazed at the audio quality. I kept looking for something out of sync to give me a clue if it was over dubbed, but it's spot on.

I saw Sabbath at Ozzfest in 2000/01. Even 30 years later, it was awesome to watch. I'd love to see them again.
